GIVING BACK

At Sisters Fruit Company, we believe in the importance of community, and we are always on the lookout for great volunteer opportunities. As we continue to grow, we strive to find new ways to give back to our community, and to love people in any way that we can. Over the past few years we have formed relationships with many great organizations and individuals, and we have learned a lot along the way about how to help and support people. Here are just a few of the organizations that we have partnered with at Sisters Fruit Company.

SEE YOU AT THE SUMMIT

See you at the Summit is a Portland-Based non-profit organization that takes teens that are currently experiencing cancer or are within their first few years of survivorship, through the scenic Sisters Mountains in Easter Oregon for a therapeutic 9 day backpacking trip. We think Wilderness Therapy is a wonderful concept and we have been donating our fruit chips in support for several years. If you also would like to find your own way to support this wonderful organization or just want to learn a little more about their work, we encourage you to visit their website!

LEADERSHIP MISSION INTERNATIONAL

The Leadership Center empowers young women to use their gifts to become leaders in their communities. Young women learn english, leadership and community development skills as well as gardening, animal husbandry, sustainable farming techniques and health and exercise science. They have a passion to serve their communities as teachers, working with disabled children and their families, working with survivors of domestic violence, starting small businesses in their communities, promoting healthy relationships, inspiring healthy and active lifestyles and much more. We’re cheering for these women and we hope you’ll be inspired to help too! Check out the website above.
