Hot Spiced Apple Cider

Ingredients

1 gallon apple cider
2 tbs caramel sauce
1/2 tbsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tbsp ground nutmeg
1/2 lemon (sliced)
1/2 orange (sliced)
1/2 apple (sliced)
3 cinnamon sticks
6 whole cloves
1 vanilla bean
5 star anise pieces

Instructions

In a 5 quart pot on low heat, add the apple cider, cinnamon, nutmeg, lemon slices, orange slices, apple slices, cinnamon sticks, whole cloves, star anise and caramel sauce.

Allow to warm for 3 hours. Ladle into serving glasses.

Top with whipped cream, a sprinkle of cinnamon and Sisters Fruit Co. Honeycrisp Apple Chips.

Enjoy!

Store leftovers in fridge for up to 1 week (it is as delicious served chilled as well or you can reheat in microwave!)
