Homemade Raspberry Hot Chocolate

There are very few things we enjoy more than a homemade cup of hot chocolate on a cold, wintery day. It’s just a must! In this recipe, we pair up dark chocolate and creamy whole milk with the sweet, fruity flavor of real raspberries — for an incredibly dreamy drink that’s sure to brighten up even the chilliest days.

Homemade Raspberry Hot Chocolate

Makes: 2 servings

INGREDIENTS
2 cups milk
2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 cup Sisters Fruit Co. Raspberry Artisan Fruit Syrup
¼ cup dark chocolate chips (or roughly chopped pieces of dark chocolate)
⅛ teaspoon vanilla extract

INSTRUCTIONS
1. Place milk, cocoa powder and Artisan Raspberry Syrup in a small saucepan.
2. Heat over medium/medium-low heat, whisking frequently, until warm (but not boiling).
3. Add chocolate chips and whisk constantly until the chocolate chips melt and distribute evenly into the milk. Whisk in vanilla extract, serve immediately.
